Shut up and eat.

Terms of use

Last updated October 8, 2026.

Shut Up and Eat is made by RFT Media, LLC. By using the app or joining a round, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

What the app does

It finds restaurants near you and helps a group pick one. That's all. It doesn't make reservations, take orders or handle payments for food.

Restaurant information

Restaurant listings come from the Overture Maps Foundation and other public sources. They can be out of date or wrong, and they don't include hours. A place the app picks might be closed, moved or gone. Check before you go. We aren't responsible for a wasted drive, a closed door or a bad meal.

Other services

Open in Maps, Call and Order on DoorDash send you to other apps and websites. They're run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.

The unlock

The first few decisions are free. After that, the $2.99 unlock is a one-time purchase through Apple or Google. Refunds are handled by the store you bought it from, under its rules. Guests who join a round never pay.

Playing together

Use a first name or nickname when you join a round. Don't use a name that harasses or impersonates someone. The host can remove anyone from a round, and we can end rounds that are misused.

Fair use

Don't copy our restaurant list in bulk, scrape the service, or try to break or overload it. We limit how many searches each phone and network can make, and we can block anyone who abuses the service.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will be available, error-free or right about any restaurant. To the extent the law allows, RFT Media's total liability for anything related to the app is limited to what you paid for it.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. If the terms change, we'll update the date above. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Apple's and Google's standard terms for apps also apply to your download.
